Amira Shenouda obtained her bachelor’s degree MBBS (Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery) from Khartoum University in Sudan. After arriving to Canada, she completed the exams required for the license of the Medical Council of Canada. Amira then joined the Academy of Applied Pharmaceutical Studies and obtained a diploma in that field. While doing her exams I volunteered in some of Ontario’s hospitals such as Sunnybrook Hospital, Ajax Hospital and St. Michael’s Hospital as well as shadowing in some family practice clinics. In addition, Amira worked as a research assistant in the cardiology department at Sunnybrook Hospital.
