Dr. Mona Loutfy is an Infectious Diseases Specialist, Clinician Scientist and Full Professor at the University of Toronto and Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Her main practice is in inner city Toronto where she specializes in seeing women, couples, youth, and cares for reproductive health issues and HIV.

 

She founded the Maple Leaf PrEP Clinic in 2018 with Dr. El-Helou to provide an essential sexual health service to the surrounding community. She also uses community-based research in all her research working in partnership with community members to address the issues most important to them.
