Vijaya Chikermane is a knowledge exchange consultant who works with social profit organizations and researchers on content development, writing, design, art-based methods for research, evaluation and community engagement.

 

She has been a community member and advocate in the HIV, AIDS, sexual and gender rights space for over 15 years and has led the development of narrative anthologies with racialized women, art-based community resources and storytelling research. She is also an aspiring researcher who aims to explore creative modalities to realize decolonial and affirming praxis with racialized women who identify across the trans-feminine spectrum.
